SLC Farmer's Market and Cake!

For Kelli's birthday, we went up to Salt Lake City for the Farmer's Market, Hogle Zoo, and Little America Cake!

Happy Birthday Kelli!

The Dollar Movie

A few years ago, Kelli and I went to the Dollar Movie at our local theater. It was cold and rainy that day, so we decided to wear our sweats. Ever since, we either go to the Dollar Movie in our sweats or our pajama's. This year we went in our pajama's.

With Konnor along with us, we were only able to see about 45 minutes of the movie, "The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader." We still had a great time!

Summer Party!

After making the movie, we needed to watch it! So, Kelli helped me make this GREAT "Red Carpet" themed party. We did a red carpet with pictures...

We had homemade pizza's...

Kelli decorated the tables with stars...

We made ice cream sundaes and then we tried to watch our movie. We actually weren't able to watch the movie that night, but I think we all had a blast!

Getting Ready for Steven to Come Home Day!

Steven is coming home soon! We really needed to get ready... fast! So, we made this fun chain of what we needed to do!

Summer Horror Movie

So, my friends and I got together and we decided to make a "horror movie." We didn't know how it would turn out, we just knew we wanted to make one. So, we got everything planned and figured out and then... We made a mystery, horror, funny movie!

The plot is about a missing chicken. A detective has to find the chicken with help from his assistant. They ask all the suspicious victims, but they can't figure out who could have taken the chicken... or can they?

Everyone did an AWESOME job with the movie!!

#26!

On our board, #26 is to make a Summer Blog! Thanks for the idea, Aunt Kathee!

Cupcakes and Movie Time!

Who doesn't love cupcakes? Kelli and I make chocolate cupcakes (for breakfast) and then we watched a movie, The Watcher in the Woods, a movie made by Disney, but still scary! We had a fun time and our cupcakes were pretty good!

Pool Party!

A few years ago, North Ogden built a pool, North Shore. It's only 5 minutes away, so we like to go there often. It has a fun lazy river, diving boards, and a slide.

Our fun tradition of getting pizza for lunch!

Dino Park!

With Dinosaur Park being fairly close, it's a fun place to go. And Konnor was free! The weather was nice, there weren't very many people, and we had a fun time looking around at all the dinosaurs and enjoying the fun playground.

Ogden Art Festival!

Every year, Ogden has an Art Festival, with local artists' works and sculptures and with yummy food. It was a fun activity! Everyone should go!

Union Station Tour and Photo Scavenger Hunt!

We decided that we wanted to see what we could do in Ogden that would be FUN but also cheap. We ended up riding the Ogden Trolley Express that took us from the Junction all the way to the Frontrunner station and finishing up back at the Junction. The ride was pretty fun- the driver gave us alot of interesting information about Ogden and when we made a stop at the Frontrunner station a group of blind and/or deaf kids got on the trolley. They were fun to interact with and they loved that there was a screaming baby joining them for the ride.

After our free tour of Ogden we decided to go over to the Union Station to do a "Find Your Name Scavenger Hunt"

We were able to find almost all the letters in our names Kelli, Jason and Konnor the only letter we didnt find was the letter R- so we put rocks together to form the letter. We had a lot of fun doing the scavenger hunt and taking pictures by the trains. We had a fun day that was completley free.

Camping and Fishing Weekend Part 2

When we finally got to sleep, Konnor woke up. After we fed him and we got back to sleep again, the sprinklers went on. Kelli had had enough, so we went inside to sleep comfortably. That morning, we got ready for the day and then went to the Valley to go fishing. Kevin was the only one that fished that day and sadly didn't catch anything.

With our fishing done, we went out to a well known "Utah Classic" in the Valley: The Oaks.

Camping and fishing weekend part 1

As it's Summer, we have to have at least 1 campout. But, we have a 10 month old boy in the family now. So, we just decided to campout in the backyard...

We had a yummy BBQ with Smore's!

 Later, we played Monopoly!

A DAY IN SALT LAKE CITY.

This was Konnor's first ride on the Front Runner! Once we got to the main hub in SLC, we decided to  walk to the Gateway instead of riding the tracks. It was a nice cool afternoon so the walk was enjoyable.
Since we arrived in SLC around lunch time, we decided to eat lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen. We shared a BLT Club pizza. It was yummy!
On the Daily Dish on the CW30, they featured a bakery that is located at the Gateway called Kodiak Bear. The cookies looked amazing and there were chunks of chocolate chips inside their cookies so we had to try them out. We sampled the double dark chocolate chips and the chocolate chip and the peanut butter cookies. Everyone should go try their cookies out. It is located next to Bath and Body Works.

We toured as much as we could at Temple Square.
