A DAY IN SALT LAKE CITY.

This was Konnor's first ride on the Front Runner! Once we got to the main hub in SLC, we decided to  walk to the Gateway instead of riding the tracks. It was a nice cool afternoon so the walk was enjoyable.
Since we arrived in SLC around lunch time, we decided to eat lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen. We shared a BLT Club pizza. It was yummy!
On the Daily Dish on the CW30, they featured a bakery that is located at the Gateway called Kodiak Bear. The cookies looked amazing and there were chunks of chocolate chips inside their cookies so we had to try them out. We sampled the double dark chocolate chips and the chocolate chip and the peanut butter cookies. Everyone should go try their cookies out. It is located next to Bath and Body Works.

We toured as much as we could at Temple Square.

Our First Summer Project... The Yard Project!

Our first summer project was the "Yard Project" we got rid of all our bark, replaced it with dirt, and planted all new colorful flowers and green plants!

All the bags of bark- we had almost 20 bags of old bark by the time we were done.

It All Began...

Hey, there! Welcome to our Blog, "Oh The Places We Go" This blog is all about our fun Summer Activities. We started making a "Board" when we would find ourselves on a perfectly good summer day with nothing to do. We started thinking of fun idea's and things and that is how we started our "Summer Board." This year, we have 63 things on our list. Last year, we had 96. We didn't get all of them completed, so we just transfered what we didn't get done from last year to this year. We still add our tradional things on like our Salt Lake Famer's Market Day, Logan Day Trip, and Make Homemade Ice Cream Day.
